Description

Reproduction of an original wartime slipcover to hold and protect Soldbuch.

Roughly, 15cm tall, 11cm wide, mid-weight, cardstock construction, protective sleeve cover with glued, vertical side seams and black printed Gothic script to center of the obverse, “Soldbuch”. The obverse also has a small, horizontally rectangular, black bordered box to the top left corner and a larger horizontally rectangular, black bordered box to the center, near the bottom edge. The smaller box was intended to write in the first three initials of the owner’s name while the larger box was intended to write in the branch of service. The top edge of the cover is opened and has a semi-circular cut-out to ease access to the Soldbuch.
